Nandi hills holds a place of special significance, almost a rite of passage for Bangaloreans. A massive hill rising to 1,478m above sea level, offers breathtaking sunrise and sunset views. Apart from tar road, which goes to the top of the hill, there is a staircase based trekking path which starts near Sultapet village.
